Faith (poem)
Where do I find faith? Trust in myself,
Trust in other, trust in God.
If I lose faith, where can I find it?
It seems we were made to be deceived.
Not knowing our reflection from our face
Not knowing our experience from grace
Our true being. Who are we?
Who am I? What are we?
So many questions, to which life gives
No answers. Only conjectures, hypotheses,
Or simply circumstance and observations.
It’s all about physics. Trying to keep our feet on the ground
Based in reality, whatever that entails.
We keep a running tabulation,
Yet by all calculations, things just don’t add up.
We are who we are. If you believe it to be a certain way,
Then that’s who you are, ie. You can see how easily
It is to be misled. ~psp
